Pirate, Lamb and Kitty!

We had a pretty uneventful Halloween.  We went up our street and back down it and then went over to Harvest Church where they put on something called 'trunk or treat' where people decorate the back end of their vehicle with a theme and pass out candy and the message of Christ's love.  It is really neat and kid friendly.

 

We then walked across the street to the nursing home and walked the halls there saying hello to all the elderly people! Brian's grandpa Troyna is one of them. Kathy went to help him pass out candy along with Kathy's sister Peg and brother Dan. We thought we'd get a picture with Brian and his mom and the girls.  Not bad!

Eden's legs are getting stronger and she is starting to explore what it feels like to get up on her knees (10/27).

And, she's UP!  (10/31).  She finally got those feet under her!  What a big girl! 

Heartland Farms!

A great morning was spent with Keziah's preschool group at Heartland Farms in Waterloo.  Mom was off work that morning so I was able to lay Eden down at her house and meet the rest of the group over there.  Adah got to tag along and LOVED it!  She is still talking about Mrs. Sweitzer (Kezzie's teacher)!  Here is the crew.  Kezzie is on the far right and that's Adah standing out front like a sore thumb!  I think the sun was in her face!

 

Here we are on the hay ride.  It was SUPER cold that day so hats and more hats, gloves and boots were a must.  Adah in front, then Kez and Abbi in back.

 

They have a big jumping pillow just like the one at Palmer's.  The girls had so much fun.  Adah enjoyed it the most, I'm pretty sure!  She didn't get to go when we went to Palmer's for Austin's birthday so this was all new to her.  She would roll around on it all the way to the ground!  Even when it was done she kept saying how she wanted to go back and jump some more!

It was a good but cold day!  The girls had so much fun and as we were leaving they gave out little pumpkins for them to take home.

Adah is 2 years + 11 months!

Those first pictures are after a haircut and style.  She is so beautiful!  I swear she grew a ton this last month and her hair got thicker and she got much smarter! 

Again, I'm not going to say much about her this month but will maybe write more next time!

Jack-O-Lanterns

Oooey, gooey, slimy pumpkins!  After supper tonight we thought it was time to carve into our pumpkins that we have had sitting in our garage forever!  Austin cut the holes in the top and me, Brian and Keziah dug them out.  Austin did his own!  Adah was still eating supper (she is as slow as molasses!).  The girls picked out the kitty/pumpkin picture for me to carve.  I think it turned out very nice!  Austin didn't get his finished...maybe I will get a picture later of the finished product!

Birthday Saturday!

Today we had a day of celebrations!  Reid turned one in September and Henry turns one this month!  So they had a party together!  A year goes by so fast anymore!  The party was at the CWC (our local rec center) and the kids had a blast!

 

In the evening we went over to Brian's parents to celebrate Henry's 3rd birthday.  Mat and Steph came into town this morning!  The kids always have a great time together.  Austin was at the river with my mom and dad so he missed out on all the fun!  Henry is really into trains (specifically Thomas the Train) and hot wheels so we got him a Thomas book with little plastic trains to tell the story with and a hot wheels bath toy.  Happy 3rd Birthday Henry!  We love you!

 

My 'lil Hawkeye!

Is she not the cutest little Hawkeye Cheerleader EVER!  She was not a fan of the head band, but I managed to get a few with it on where she wasn't crying hysterically!

Look at that huge smile!  She is crawling and trying to climb on everything!  And this white bear she is holding used to be Keziah's but Eden just loves it.  Bear has become a part of her vocabulary (which is very small)!  I think it is safe to say that aside from mama and dada, bear was her first word!

Eden is 10 MONTHS!!!

Edie is her nick name.  It's really starting to stick!  She has got to be the sweetest baby I know!  She is full of kisses these days.  If you ask her for one she just might like you enough to give you one.  It's more like a french kiss then anything though since she does it with her mouth wide open.  And if you make the sound 'mmmmmwa' she will imitate it. 

Eden got her two first teeth this month.  She got her bottom left front tooth on 9/16 and her bottom right front tooth on 9/27.  Eden started signing more on 9/23.  This looks somewhat like she is clapping because she doesn't form her fingers together like the actual sign but she puts her hands together over and over to get her point across!  She keeps on amazing me in her abilities!  Eden loves to play peek-a-boo (10/5).  She will raise a blanket or big up over her eyes and bring it down with a big smile.  She sometimes uses her arm and doesn't quite get her eyes covered up but still thinks she is playing!  One of the sweetest things that will never get old is hearing Eden say uh-oh (10/6).  She will drop a toy and immediately say uh-oh.  I wasn't sure how she learned this until she dropped something and Keziah said uh-oh right away.  I bet that's not the only thing her big sisters will be teaching her!

Biggest news ever is Eden started crawling (10/6)!!!  I am so proud of my sweetie!  She only took 4 crawls forward but she is going to get it in no time! 

Eden's schedule is still the same as last month so I'm not going to write anything about that.

Next month we will be talking surgery stuff so I will have plenty to say next month!

As always, I have to say, God is so good!  What a blessing Eden is to us!
